As owners of BS Cattle Company, we first introduced the Watusi breed of cattle onto our ranch ten years ago. The breed's majestic manner and large diameter horns are the show stoppers of the bovine kingdom. We were captivated by the unique characteristics  of this breed of cattle.

Ankole-Watusi Cattle originated in Africa over 6,000 years ago. They are known as the Cattle of Kings because in their native land a man's wealth was measured by the number of cattle that he owned.

Today, Watusi cattle are raised in America in an effort to preserve the uniqueness of the breed's characteristics. We raise mostly foundation pure (100%) Watusi and have animals that are registered with the Ankole-Watusi International Registry and the World Watusi Association. We strive to breed quality animals with good body structure and large diameter horns.
